quite a number of my uni friends messaged/sms to inform me of him coming. looks like i'm infamous for being a daniel lee fan. *cough*

erm, i still don't have his 2nd album, and don't really intend to get. hehe. for me, his songs are pleasant enough, and his voice bordering on decent. but a bit silly hor, going for his mini concert when he'll probably be singing his new songs, which i don't know! how???

nvm, at least i can dedicate myself to SCREAMING MY LOVE FOR HIM ahahahahahahahaha! DANIEL LEE PLEASE MARRY MEEEEEEEEE wth. wahahahaha.

ok i know this post is a bit late la, but... i was once a HUGE fan of daniel lee mah. obligatory post on his new album and his new look. =D



he's still as cute as ever, hee.

anyway, his new album, 躲不过, or unavoidable. haven't really heard the songs yet... cos i've been really out of touch with him la. *lousy fan* *shy*

don't even collect posters and newspaper cuttings of him. sigh. but if anyone wants to give me any of those, i'll still be quite happy. =D

but his 2nd album should be quite good la! i think so la. kua. at least this time there was more time and thought put into the album, unlike the 1st which was kinda rushed, and thus a bit on the mediocre side.

so i shall be downloading his songs soon! hahaha. ok i know, illegal downloading damn bad, stealing from my favourite artiste.

actually i don't mind shelling out some money for a couple of cds, just not daniel lee's la. bahaha. not that i don't like pop songs anymore la, i still do. speaking of which, mika is totally awesome, people go buy his album!

i pointed that out, and dad said "ya la, so it looks like someone is in your room mah."

some of u might know/remember bout the near life-size daniel cut out i've been wanting to cart away.

yes, the one u see in record shops.

so today i saw another shop in 1u with the daniel cardboard cut out and asked if they still needed it (fyi, i asked at least 3 shops before).

the guys there were like, "take take take!"

me: huh? this daniel wan wor? can take?

guys: ya ya, take now!

me: now?

guys: ya just take la! take take take!

they sounded almost desperate (gasp!) to er... get rid of the daniel cut out.

anyway i carried daniel out of the shop (yes, CARRIED him wahaha) and my sister and mum burst out laughing at the sight of me hanging on to him.

so we headed for the carpark to deposit daniel in sis's car and on the way one guy came up to me and was like "you steal daniel ah?!"

WAHAHA.

he added i should cover daniel's face with a paperbag. i wonder why.

so yeah, i was CARRYING daniel all the way to the carpark.

but it was worth it! :D

this is one of daniel's chinese song... not the chinese mimpi - i cant put it up cos no suitable file. not that it matters, the radio stations are playing it already. hehe.

anyway, this song's not too bad, and more importantly, daniel sings it in tune! =P

for some reason his singing style sounds vaguely familiar... i hardly listen to chinese songs ya, so i'm really not sure.

just watched daniel for all of 5 minutes on 8tv quickie (yes, really QUICK... ish.). 1st caller - obviously some fanatic girl was probably too high from hearing daniel's voice that she was stammering and...... nvm.

was torn between envy and pity and laughing my head off, so i laughed my head off. MUAHAHA.

was kinda evident that adam doesnt think much of daniel. he was JIBING him throughout the quickie, for goodness sake. and he called daniel a hobbit too. AIH. oh well, not that i think much of adam whatever his surname is. *rolls eyes*

anyway, am happy cos got THIS - chinese version of mimpi! he sounds better when he sings in mandarin. his 'kou chi bu qing' not as bad as jay chou haha.

yay yay i managed to solve the stupid template problem i had!!!!!!

at the same time i found daniel's rendition of 'mimpi' - the one he performed at the results show. much much better but, um... still out of tune la. ish.

because! i've FINALLY downloaded daniel's mimpi and angin malam!!!!!

so so so happy! i tried searching for the songs the next day after the results show, but with no avail... =(

but lookee here! i found the songs! though it's not the performance on results show, it's the mimpi version he sang for the finale... where u can clearly hear him going out of tune here and there... actually, practically the whole song gone case. *sighs*

sorry la dunno how to link... must use audioblog ah? tak mau la. not that u all want to hear daniel going all out of tune anyway - strictly for crazy fans only.

oh well, once the recorded version or the results show version is available, i'll be getting it... of COURSE i will.

oh well, nvm that, his angin malam is still the best. unfortunately i cant seem to find his rendition of 'heaven knows'. anyone got? send to me... i'll love u forever. =)
