aw, no...

this is kinda sad. i've occasionally dropped by wehategoodmusic after chancing upon the website a couple of months ago when i googled for anamanaguchi.

there is (ok, was) an extensive list and posts on really good bands and artistes, of which i obviously didn't have the time to properly explore all of them. i usually checked out a band here or an artiste there after browsing through some posts when i visit the site intermittently. of course, there will be so many more to explore, but i figured, alright, don't overload! make a mental note, drop by the site now and then for updates.

so basically yeah, i'm really new at the site, and still very much of a noob when it comes to music. but it doesn't make me any less sad that the site's been ended. but i respect the decision, of course. it's obvious that a lot of hard work has been put into the site, and the guy needs a break.

this year, i've been given a few catalysts to jump-start and get my music-discovery journey along, this site being one of them. before i really sound like some sappy hallmark tribute, i'll just end this post...

i hate good music too. >=)

was in relatively good mood... still am, but just uh, slightly dampened by this one little thing.

still, was nice seeing almost everyone again. so i'd say my good mood isn't totally offset with that one stupid thing.

on a slightly different note, i'm doing it again -_-" the last time it happened, it did not turn out well.

this and this.

(well yeah, there're other blogs and websites out there, but i happen to like hers a lot mah)

edit:
am of course more than happy to post up a few more links regarding the rally. as i've been mentioning to friends over msn, i'm damn proud of what took place - it showed that people are aware and are willing to take on a more active role in making a change. regret that i couldn't go, but i won't be making any excuses for myself.

on a side note, the point of me posting up the links is not so much of asking anyone to take on a certain side. i just personally feel that we should gather as much information as we can from every side (yes, every side). then it's only fair to judge.

official bersih.org

tragedibatuburok.blogspot.com

one from thecicak.com
(there're other related articles on that website as well).

accounts by jeff ooi and haris ibrahim.

and of course there're always websites like malaysiakini and harakahdaily.

read those, you'll come across more links.

girlfriend!

Wednesday, November 07, 2007

okay, now i've finally put my finger on it!

neh, you know, that irritatingly catchy song of avril lavigne's - girlfriend. i always had that nagging feeling that it reminded me of a song, but never was able to put my finger on it. then i'll forget all about it cos i'd be too caught up with "in a second you'd be wrapped around my finger, cos i can cos i can do it bet-ter!".

anyway, girlfriend sounds uncannily like the cheerleader song. ok fine, mickey by toni basil. "oh mickey you're so fine". meaning the beat and rhythm.

don't ask me why sudden (random and rather pointless) revelation la, my whole playlist was on shuffle (something that's pretty rare) and mickey suddenly popped up.

anyway, i did a little procrastinating wiki-ing, and waddaya know, they did mention the similiarities. anyway, apparently girlfriend is lagi alike with i wanna be your boyfriend by the rubinoos (who in turn are said to have ripped off the rolling stones get off my cloud). i wanna be your boyfriend sounds pretty catchy itself. it's power pop mah, who can resist power pop now put up your hands la. *cough*

the rubinoos punya song with hoardes of avril lavigne pics as the video.
wahaha, i think it's pretty damn hilarious and ironic la.
also, avril's pretty hot eh, even though she's all silly pink punk princess

mm, the rubinoos sueing avril lavigne some more. tsk tsk. yeah there's a video comparing the rubinoos and batu-batu berguling but it's damn annoying. seriously. there're so many similiar sounding songs out there la, nevermind rip-offs and sucky covers *coughwestlifecough*

argh ok i should get started on studying. *hits head*

...... hey hey you you!

please

Tuesday, November 06, 2007

if you don't know anything, then don't say anything.

i've always been relatively nicer to you, but if i get that kind of shit again, i'm not too sure if i'll be able to hold my tongue back any longer.

and when that happens, you're no match for me, honey. hmm? why yes, you've always been the one slapping me with sarcastic comments, of which i take in good naturedly.

but really, what i'll be saying to you won't be anywhere as tame as those comments of yours.

so do us both a favour and shut the fuck up, mm-kay?

spice girls!

Sunday, November 04, 2007

spice girls have been such an important part of my childhood *wipes tear away*. ok, pre-teen-hood, to be exact. around nearly 10 years ago i think. spice girls were so much fun! what, i'm a 90's kid la. they were the very first group i liked okayyy.

... my top two favourites when i was in standard 6 were the spice girls and 911. -_-" oh and ah niu. wahaha.

*reminisces*

so anyway, here's the spice girls' comeback song and video.

headlines (friendship never ends)

sigh. back then spice girls were so cute... remember how last time the girls had their own little nicknames and dressing styles and whatnots... baby sporty ginger posh scary. well obviously they had to change la in the course of 10 years. but... a bit lacklustre, the spice girls now. not to say i didn't anticipate a more boring serious version of them la (which were already apparent when they released "holler" and "let love lead the way").

headlines is just mediocre and forgettable, well, pleasant at most. and the video. what's it with all the skin bearing and awkward posings very nice clothes (with the exception of good ol' mel c and emma bunton)? i mean, hot abs and big boobs aside, i see some rather uncomfortable squirming, when the song is about friendship leh.

their very first single, wannabe. zigazig ah!

look at them. so freaking fun and cute last time. kinda miss those girls the way they used to be. gurrrrrrl powerrrrr!

THE spice girls. last time.

stop. because it's my favourite spice girls song.

stop right now, thank you very much~

*cough*

convo between me and sis :-

me: hey so have you watched the latest spice girls' video?

sis: yep, heard the song before watching the video.

me: so what do you think?

sis: sucks. and they call that their comeback song.

and that, my friends, just about sums it all up.

this is a hoax, bitches

Saturday, November 03, 2007

i've always appreciated those cutesy "friendship day" or "i'm sending this cos i miss you" kind of forwarded mails, but i've never exactly been a fan of chain emails.

especially those email hoaxes, i'm particularly ANAL over those. i'm so anal, i've taken to replying these forwarded mails to the sender by chucking them a link that debunks the particular hoax.

now honestly, i'm sure many of you have received countless of email hoaxes:

"please save this girl from dying of *insert terminal disease of your choice* by forwarding this mail and each mail forwarded will donate 2 cents to the poor girl" complete with very kesian pic of some sickly child.
DON'T BE STUPID. i do admire those compassionate people who forwarded this kind of mail but NO, THERE IS NO TRACKING SYSTEM AND NO, THERE WILL NOT BE ANY 2 CENTS PER EMAIL DONATIONS TO WHATEVER SICK OR DYING KID. hello, in most cases the kid doesnt even fucking exist.

"bill gates is sharing his fortune!"
ZOMGWTFBBQ!!!1ONE. FOR REAL???
"For every person that you forward this e-mail to, Microsoft will pay you $245.00, for every person that you sent it to that forwards it on, Microsoft will pay you $243.00 and for every third person that receives it, you will be paid $241.00."
oh WOW. some more it's a joint effort by microsoft and aol WHO ARE RIVALS HELLO. sudden re-surge of popularity, this chain email, with subject title "UK REQUIREMENT".
yes bill gates damn freaking rich but he's got better things to do with his money. for fuck's sake, money so easy to come ah? hah?

some email hoaxes are forwarded, meaning well. for example, the two-way mirror thingy that was quite popular some time back (place your fingernail to check if there's a gap). and another one claiming that you can unlock your car using a handphone. and there's another on this rape drug progesterex that can make women mandul, mainly spread in friendster, this one.

hoaxes. it's very thoughtful that you wanna warn people and all, and it's important that we be careful and all that. but please check to see if what you're forwarding is a hoax or not.

speaking of friendster, isn't it a damn well-known fact by now that the stupid mr allen smith message is bloody false? and YET i still see it popping up every now and then. BOH SIEN AH.

also, still on friendster, they have dumb bulletin posts that you open only to see "now that you've opened this, you have to post this up again with the title "I AM GAY". do it or you really will turn GAY at exactly 1am today!".

ok digressing. enough of friendster. lalaland sial.

anyway, the sudden need for me to rant over the idiocy of all this is because the stupid msn email hoax is now in the rage AGAIN. neh, the one saying msn and hotmail is gonna start charging summer 2007 onwards (some idiot actually bothered to "update" this thing to 2007), and the email even includes a link to this bbc news article, which yes is authentic BUT IT IS DATED LIKE DONKEY YEARS AGO HELLO. PEOPLE. PLEASE FOR GOODNESS SAKE. WTF, YEAR 2001.

go and knock yourself out before forwarding the email.

you know, a lot of email hoaxes are actually pretty damn obvious. and if you're not sure anyway, very simple - just GOOGLE it. if it's a hoax, there'll be a whole host of links debunking it. you'll be spoilt for choice.

hmm? what's that i hear? very ma fan to check the authenticity?

OH, SO FORWARDING TO ALL YOUR CONTACTS NOT MA FAN LA.

WE ALL SPEND TIME WASTE ENERGY OPENING/READING/CLEARING THE MAIL NOT MA FAN LA.

OTHER IDIOTS WHO SIMILIARLY FORWARD THE MAIL, NOT MA FAN LA.

next time, please just check, thank you very much.

and here is HOW TO SPOT AN EMAIL HOAX. random link. many out there.

anyway, shall end this post with a mention of one hoax that i actually like. the ever infamous BONSAI KITTENS! was extremely amused when i received this hoax mail not too long ago from a coursemate. up until now the hoax is still going strong!

bonsai kittens. WAHAHA SO CUTE.

disclaimer: this blog post is obviously not written with particularly anyone in mind. if you've sent me any of those emails before, many others have sent them to me as well, much to my annoyance/amusement (depends on mood). i obviously don't remember who sent me what. but then again, if you did forward it/them to me before, well... you know what you should do next time another suspicious email comes along your way. do not insult your own intelligence.

just tipping over a little

Monday, October 29, 2007

and spilling a few drops of my thoughts.

i wonder if i'm doing the right thing. who doesn't, no? but i'm wondering if this is the way to take, if this is all it should be.

i recently made a decision which i am proud of. it's small, seemingly insignificant, and it was in a situation where reasoning was made simple and clear. unfortunately, i had to resort to a little white lie. i don't say i made the right decision - in some cases there is no right or wrong. why must things always be in black and white anyway. grey areas people, grey areas. i like grey areas. no definite right or wrong. who died and made you the ultimate judge on what's right and what's wrong anyway.

grey areas lalala. my patience has been running thinner and i'm on the verge of being snarky, sometimes for no apparent reason. i like using sarcasm to induce humour, not to hurt people's feelings. but sometimes it's just getting too irresistable to poke at them. you're asking for it, dears. i'm actually a very nice person, really.

i feel like going into the exam hall with a blank slate of mind (tabula rasa wth) and just see what's the outcome. so exciting. i'll be taking on each question thinking "do i know this shit?" instead of "oh ooohhh this is from the lecture notes woot". but i know the spirit of kiasu-ism, so well cultivated in me since my high school days, will involuntarily kick in and i'll be hitting the books right at the very last minute, just nearly in time to skim through what i need to know. ah, the exhiliration of racing against the clock. mmm, fun fun fun.

am idly wondering what happened to my thirst for straight As.

it's been so long since we've met... well, more like ages since the four of us met up. couple of years? yeah. i think our worlds are so different now. we've all changed, but i get the feeling that you all are closer to what we used to be. i have slowly moved away from that, not something i'm really happy about. i've stopped drawing for a long long time too, only very occasionally doodling a little when i feel like it. hey, let's check out each other's works soon okayy? and stories. i don't hold on to them anymore, but i know at least one of you do, tighter than ever before.

we all have stories to tell. tell me yours, i'll listen. and i'll tell you mine if you'll listen. it's called sherry and the giant beanstalk.

who needs brinjals now. >=)

of montreal - wraith pinned to the mist and other games

"let's have bizarre celebrations~"

and something else that's been receiving heavy airplay. not too sure how much of the mtv has been censored on local tv though.

will.i.am - i got it from my mama

hmm? nothing, except that i dig looking at hot girls in bikinis. yeah baby.

(unfortunately, i did not get it from my mama, or i'd be the modern equivalent of what she did when she was my age. which would be, you know, like those hot models you see at pc fairs or motor shows. sigh.)

because it's weird to me

Friday, October 19, 2007

it is seldom that i blog about something right after it happens, but this time i just can't help it mannnn.

my superior walked in carrying a colleague's 7-month-old baby, at which, you know, he was making all those cute sounds ppl make when they're playing with a baby.

which weirded me out like anything.

i wanted to carry the baby as well (bout the same age as isaac, yo), but i think i was too distracted and busy getting weirded out -_-"

geez, i don't even know why, cos i've always had the knowledge that he's pretty learned in child psyc and all, and that reminds me - not like he wasnt surrounded with kids before anyway. my childhood wth wth.

... also, can't wait to tease someone. MUAHAHA. ok i shall be nice and not kacau so much.

shit, hope my superior doesnt stumble upon this or anything. yeah and i'm blogging while at work. you gotta wonder what they pay me for. zomg i'll ruin my own career one day wth.

er back to facebook work.

[edit]: ok, that fact that he sings meredith brooks with aplomb has gotta take the cake. was damn worth it, picking that song. HAHA.

in rainbows

Tuesday, October 16, 2007

still listening. why not go here and get it too.

gotta love their unconventional ways. progression of my expression was:
O_o -> -_-" -> XD

ya. wondering how much the album download costs?

it's... up to you. seriously.

anyway, am currently kinda overloaded with songs. and then at the moment now i'm distracted by in rainbows. hmm, radiohead aside, most songs of other bands i get are usually random handfuls, and it'll take some time for me to listen and decide i like them enough to download the band's entire album(s). zomg piracy. damn. easy way out is to nick them from friends who have all songs. heh.

have quite line-up waiting for me to check them out. and the more i listen, the more i discover along the way. sial. -_-"

random: current favourite at the moment - bodysnatchers.

people

Wednesday, October 10, 2007

now, i don't know how many of you noticed the myanmar thing at the top of my sidebar, or my single myanmar post with the banner, in which all i did was chuck in an extra wiki link.

Free Burma!

however, i kinda expect that most of you catch up with the news even more than i do (why yes, i'm a typical ignorant frog in the well), so you all will already have a general idea of what's going on. however, it's pretty pathetic of me to just post up a link in my sidebar and a single blog post without saying anything on the crisis. defeats the purpose of spreading the word, really.

so well, what exactly is going on?

from my limited knowledge *cough*

about a month ago, the Buddhist monks (and er, nuns too) started a call for democracy through peaceful marches and demonstrations. to fully appreciate what they are fighting for, we must understand that myanmar is ruled by a military regime for decades. from what i have gathered so far, the military regime is a dictatorship that seized power by force back in 1988. a coup, so to speak. however, in 1990, aung san suu kyi's political party won the elections, but the ruling military regime prevented it from forming a government.

thousands of Myanmar people have joined in the protest together with the monks. many of them, civilians and monks alike, were brutally attacked by the military regime. there are casualties, but i'm not too clear on the death toll.

anyway.

*begins copy pasting*

there is a petition calling on Myanmar's powerful ally China and the UN security council to step in and pressure Myanmar's rulers to stop the killing. The petition has exploded to over 500,000 signatures in a few days and is being advertised in newspapers around the world, delivered to the UN Security Council, and broadcast to the Burmese people by radio. they're trying to get to 1 million signatures this week.

*ends copy pasting*

please sign the PETITION. the first step is to stop these brutal killings on people who are fighting for nothing else but their rights.

thank you, kind compassionate people.

the first part of philip pullman's his dark materials trilogy!!!!!1one!

damn excited hehehe. i LOVE fantasy, and i LOVE trilogies. have read the first two parts of the trilogy - currently re-reading the second book after re-reading the first book -_-" erm i'm sorta saving the last book, you know, like how some people save the best morsel for the last.

the anticipation of reading the last book =D

really really hope the movie lives up to the book's standard. the trailer looks promising enough. though the whole thing has a sorta polished feel to it. hmm. and the alethiometer looks a bit plasticky/toy-like.

anyway.

casting-wise, i like dakota blue richards as lyra! though i did imagine her looking a bit more wild, she looks bright-eyed and cunning enough, and NOT CUTESY thank goodness. bagus. dunno why her daemon pantalaimon sounds so girly la. he is voiced by an underaged boy after all. oh well.

wily and cunning >=)

nicole kidman as mrs coulter is not surprising. she does look the part, after all. let's hope she'll be able to pull off the character well and not end up looking mildly ridiculous like that white witch in the narnia movie.

beautiful and charming enough

daniel craig as lord asriel seems a bit... um, well. just didnt imagine lord asriel to look like that. daniel craig's more of suave than the agressive, passionate and strong lord asriel.

argh! james bond wth!

eva green as serafina pekkala seems quite alright, though now i KNOW i'll be reminded of james bond casino royale seeing that both she and daniel craig are in this movie. gah.

yeah she looks witchy cos... she's a witch la

oh, and sam elliott as lee scoresby is right on the spot! well, maybe except that he looks slightly older than i imagined. heh.

fits the part well as the weatherbeaten scoresby

and oooh look - my daemon! =D

heh. ok back to work.

oh dearie me

Thursday, September 27, 2007

sigh, what's it with all the misunderstandings going around.

you say that you've been misunderstood - hello as if i'm not being misunderstood by you la now. because if i wasn't misunderstood by you, you shouldnt even be feeling misunderstood in the first place, godammit.

and at least i take an effort in clarifying things.

p.s. now do not get all terasa with my curtness. as if i'm not hurt.

[edit]: *cough* hehe all cleared. minta maaf for all the unnecessary hentam-ing from me, heh. what, i can't help being self-centred now, can i?

now take credit in knowing that u're about the only one who sees me as that =P

sunny day~ sweeping the... clouds away~

have decided not to say anything there, cos well, i didn't want to add on to the mess, what more at someone else's site.

but this here is my blog =)

and i was just thinking how juvenile some people can be, adding to the noise for the sake of it. not so much of the mindset, but the way you go around saying things.

go ahead and not give a fuck like always.

tsk, imbecile.

ah, no wonder

Monday, September 24, 2007

sis was doing this personality test thing... which i did a couple of years before, that sanguine choleric melancholy phlegmatic thingy.*

so anyway, i'm sanguine phlegmatic (no surprises there), my sister is the total opposite of me - melancholy choleric.

sial, no wonder we're both so different la. was surprised that my sister is so dominantly melancholy. hmm. but i do see the choleric side of her. *coughBOSSYcough*

sis and i were speculating what mum and dad would be. we're guessing dad's predominantly choleric (well, cos he is). and that mum would be melancholy.

and that, my dear readers, would explain a whole lot about the intricacies among my family members.

*at a very brief glance:

sanguine - light hearted, fun, people person, spontaneous, scatter-brained, impulsive, messy, doesn't finish what they start, may avoid facing problems, takes on more than they have time for.

choleric - born leader, strong-willed, confident, decisive, unemotional, independant, excels in emergencies, goal-oriented, bossy, impatient, quick tempered, argumentative, dominating, tactless

melancholy - deep and thoughtful, analytical, serious and purposeful, artistic or musical, sensitive, conscientious, idealistic, easily offended, gets too caught up in details, doesn't do well with change, struggles with insecurity

phlegmatic - low-key, easygoing, patient, well-balanced, consistent, mediator, keeps emotions hidden, inoffensive, good listener, dry wit, procrastinator, unenthusiastic, indecisive, avoids responsibility, reticent, too compromising, self-righteous, lacks motivation, lazy

woe is me

Saturday, September 22, 2007

yeah me, who is pms-ing. hence highly unstable emotionally. and randomly incoherent.

like, you know, i didn't realise i was so angry. and i vented it out at the person i should least vent to. sigh, the guilt =(

curt tones and rude words uttered. i'd like to say that it was the incident that put me in a state of anger, and hence those hurtful words and hurtful tones i used.

and then ah, it accumulated to a full-fledge venting of my anger on what was pissing me off so much. anger and emotions escalating sial. i was on the verge of... well, i was on the verge of something.

probably not very good to bottle things up, as eventually the freaking bottle can't hold on for much longer. all it did was just bubble over the rim a little, and i'm already taken aback by the wave of anger that consumed me. well, albeit brief la.

how ah? anger management. mayb i should, like, shout at a wall or something the next time i'm pissed off instead of swallowing it down as if it were a fishball. a big fishball. don't even ask me WHY a fishball. i don't even swallow fishballs whole. heck, i don't even like fishballs all that much.

maybe one of those little cup puddings. yeah, i like those.

mental sial

my frequency of falling asleep in class is much less compared to previous sems (of course that's mainly cos i miss half my classes in the first place, but that's not my point for now).

however, less sleeping, yes. but i get sien and fidgety verrryyyy easily in class nowadays. and recently i've taken a penchant to reduce my sien-ness in class by, among other silly things, moaning just loud enough for my friends next to me to hear.

just to annoy/disgust them. HAHA.

(and er, also for practice la, in case i'll need to fake it in the future OMG I HOPE NOT DFHKLAJSDFHKASDFH)

- end random silly pointless post -

for blue skies, by strays don't sleep.

it's weird how i have some songs festering in my playlist, one day they just happen to pop out, and i listen to them...

... and the feeling hits me.

(this song was apparently in satu pokok bukit?)

anyway. like it lots. lots lots.

1. Put your iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc. on Shuffle mode.

4. Write any comments you have after the song name.
5. Tag everyone who's linked to your blog (those reading this entry included too!) and get them to tell you when they've done theirs, so you can both laugh at each other's "misfortunes" or "coincidences"! =D

i'm not as good (here encompasses watever good traits) as some may perceive, for reasons not a hundred percent unknown, but still rather blurry to me

but in the occasion that the clouds clear and i happen to be right where the light is shining unfavourably...

i'm not as bad as it would seem.

procrastinating by sherry's definition at this very moment - doing nothing in particular (e.g. writing pointless blog posts) while work is piling up. drinking coffee to the sounds of the strokes and staring at the computer screen browsing thru someone's latest blog update full of pics and seriously lacking of the usual intellectually-stimulating bombastic-to-the-verge-of-lansi-ness words that string into so many rows they make u giddy *cough*

procrastinating by sherry's definition for the following few minutes - cavorting around friendster. oh, how juvenile! oh, how frivolous!

somebody kick me already.

it's your birthday

50 years yo.

in the midst of fixing our flag on cars and waxing lyrical on our fabulous mamak culture, fabulous food, fabulous night life, fabulous hospitality, fabulous skyscrapers, fabulous cars (oh HAHA), fabulous rojak language, fabulous mix of races getting along fabulously, whatever fabulous idiosyncrasies that are only unique to us malaysians...

don't forget how we came to this day. and in the process, things that were achieved; things that we're still trying to achieve; things that were, and still are, swept under the carpet.

i know many of us are indignant (well, to put it subtly) about many issues in this country. but i'd say what we've achieved so far is worthy of being proud of.

i have been largely apathetic towards Malaysia. not that i hated Malaysia, no. i just didn't feel anything towards her.

if you say you love Malaysia, i hope your love runs a bit deeper than just your love of hanging out at mamak stalls.

and now, am off to read the 1957 straits times newspaper woot! damn cute la the ads! XD

happy birthday Malaysia~

am listening to MAMULA MOON, the very original version of Negaraku. lovely romantic oldie.

how this song, and later terang bulan, became our national anthem... go google or wiki it la. it's a lightly amusing read, really. =)

disclaimer: listening to mamula moon does not mean i respect our national anthem any less. you know, i'm just saying, since certain authorities have been verrryyyy jumpy over blogs and bloggers and all things blog-ey.

sitting on ronald mcdonald's knee. he was hard. >=)

that was my hostel room in upm. the right side's my part of the room.
that's the sexy back of eline. taken right before sem break,
so she's in the midst of packing up all her stuff.

my side of the room.
if u think that's my bra on the bed, then that's what it is.*coughsportsbracough*
oh, and spot the little daniel pic at the board on the wall! XD

group pic (taken at my workplace). not all are my colleagues tho.
taken in a desperate attempt by yuen to remember us by.
he's the one sitting with crotch exposed, ultimate lansi expression on face.
omg so so so yeng! *swoons*

kinda like this version, more natural.
weikhuan's expression for one, yuen being idiotically pervy,
kaishuen and sokfoon's laughing.

jagung-ness aside, what the heck am i doing here! i should be studying!

today's exam was a bit wth. gah. whatever, shall work harder for subsequent exams and assignments lor.

i am a little happy bee in the forest!

and i infinitely hate those who can't take simple orders like "no chilli" or "takmau cili" or "不要辣椒". annoying sial.

ok, i really can't help posting pics of isaac. omg i'm becoming those mothers who love showing off baby pics argh. feel so auntie, pun unintended.

ok no need to throw me auntie jokes anymore la.

auntie-ness aside, the other baby's the firstborn of my cousin (who's about the same age as my sis). baby girl, just a few months younger than isaac =) she has so much hair!

isaac: this is the first time i'm with a chick my age!

isaac: *not sure what to do*

isaac: i shall be the perfect gentleman and hold her hand.

actually, he just likes to grab anything la. but so cute ya?

can't put how i feel into words.

been feeling a little distracted lately.

i know what's been going on in this little head of mine, it's something i can't ignore. but accepting it is a different story altogether.

why do these things always turn out in every other ways imaginable, except the way i want it?

and i keep reminding myself of it even though it hurts like hell. masochist wth.

i'm sorry if it seemed like i've been avoiding. sub-consciously, maybe.

not on purpose.

insert obligatory title

Tuesday, August 07, 2007

woo i actually have about half an hour to spare. am wondering if it's ok to take panadol with coffee.

and instead of typing away incoherently in this red blog of mine, i should be writing in my other "journal"... one that would make up 5% (i think?) of my counselling subject. interestingly, i let out on quite a bit of my personal life in that journal, knowing fully well that the demo would be reading it.

heck, i even write bout my crush you know! <3<3<3 wth.

no la, so old edi where got crushes.

but come think of it, i find that sometimes it's sorta easier to share things with complete strangers rather than people who are close to you. even if those strangers judge you, it wont be as bad as having your friends see you in that same light.

you get whatever's bothering you off your chest, and that random guy sitting next to you on the train will just disappear from your life once you get off your stop (hopefully. i mean, sometimes it's really a small world).

by the way, on a totally unrelated topic. should i cut my hair or curl it! because! it's so freaking effing bloody LONG that it's annoying me already, and i'm guessing ppl around me as well, har har.

and i have this habit of not tying it up so i'll be slinging it around the whole time wth. shut up la i damn lazy to tie it up properly like what i use to do last time. high ponytail. -_-"

pls dont ask me to straighten it. and don't ask me to do the lala style straight fringe then burst of curls wth. no fringe. sworn off fringe.

and yes i know i'm balding WTH so i'll do something bout it. yes yes i may be balding but i'm still as hot and sexy as ever. right.

ok off to class.

i'm not weird la

Thursday, August 02, 2007

but i got tagged by joel.

6 Weird Things About Me:

(i'm actually not weird la, SIX weird things, hard to come up with wey. heh.)

1. i argue with/talk to myself in my head. i think a lot of people do it, though? but i tend to have more than 2 voices in my head arguing. three, usually. i even tell myself not to be rude to another self wth. ok go figure.

2. my regular karaoke joint is green box. not that sister of red box, but my tortoise car. and i like tapping or drumming away on the steering wheel. damn i wanna learn drums laaaa.

3. i do not like clowns.

4. if a dot of chili sauce/belacan/similiar spicy sauce touches my food, i wont eat the portion. and if it enters my soup then... ya la all gone. i'm anal like that.

5. i have the shortest fingers. girls shorter/tinier than me have longer fingers or bigger hands.

6. i like it when i insult someone in a sarcastic polite manner and they can't figure if i'm insulting them. like they're torn between retaliating but they don't wanna be rude. usually strangers who have it coming to them la.

ok end.

next blog post or so will be photoblog ok? must show everyone my pwetty and sho cuteeee face wth.

that's when i get pics from others la.

=)

yes, the cutest smile ever. =)

wargh

for some reason when i saw the position of the ironing board, it suddenly hit me that i forgot to switch off the iron before i left for uni today.

mum would've probably lectured me to no end if she wasn't already sleeping by the time i came home.

but that isn't the point. it's beyond stupid to leave the damn iron on. and baby isaac was at home too... imagine if a fire had happened.

*kicks self really really hard*

anyway, iron incident aside (still busy kicking myself), quite a number of stuff to settle. i don't particularly like all this kind of remeh-temeh stuff... remeh-temeh to me la cos i'm probably the laziest person ever.

in addition, so many people keep asking me if i've moved into my rented room and i'm like, "er, ya ya, moving soon". actually, i havent even bought ANYthing, no cupboard, no table no shelf no whatever. no mattress even, but i've sorta secured that through an ex-superior.

...... what, procrastination is my forte.

plus, i can't wait to get over this silly flu virus that's got me. i thought i was already recovering, mana tau my voice suddenly hilang. my voice breaks like crazy and some words just don't come out.

and it sucks not being able to sing... well not like i'm a singer wth, i just like singing along, esp when driving in my car.

couldnt resist a hot cup of coffee during lunch though. from my favourite kopi satu van! oh, the sight of the beautiful bright yellow vehicle parked at its usual place. the one thing i have been looking forward to when the sem reopens. once my cough goes away, i shall get my dose of ice-blended cappucino =D

i think a huge chunk of my ptptn goes to buying coffee wth. -_-"

on a totally unrelated topic, i realise i'm doing the same thing again. avoiding. well, not actively avoiding but more of becoming increasingly non-existant.

sometimes i cross the line even when i see where i'm heading. and when i can't avoid the crash anymore, i try (vainly?) to pull out, knowing that what's gonna happen is probably inevitable.

thing is, do i want to avoid the crash? why am i even avoiding it?

happy rotter and the order of the phoenix

hehe, the actors playing young james and sirius are actually quite cute. well they're supposed to be cute la, especially young sirius black. handsome and cocky *cough*

quite cute right =D

and young james potter
played by robbie jarvis

and susie shinner plays lily evans.
pretty la, but looks a bit old for the role.

i think luna lovegood's quite sweet.
(evanna lynch)

who's cuter, luna or ginny (bonnie wright)?

*yawns* well, nevermind them.

here's our favourite bad boy, draco malfoy/tom felton~

macam jesse mccartney and aaron carter
and young nick carter rolled in one.

hehe. woot woot~

ooo, look how hot he is.
there's something bout blond guys in blue jeans HAHAHA.
plus, he's topless and he has floppy hair. me love floppy hair XD

hehe sorry, i have a thing for floppy haired pretty boys.

ya ya i know main character's harry potter/daniel radcliffe but enough bout him and his horse edi la.

i wanna see draco malfoy~ =D

anyway ada sex scene in the 5th movie, tau tak? of course we won't get to see it la cos it'll be censored, but i managed to get a screenshot of the scene.

pretty decent photoshopping.

yeah, i know there are some of you out there who dig this kind of thing. come now, don't shy. =P

down, but looking up

Tuesday, June 26, 2007

just the other day, a colleague asked me if i ever felt offended from all the joshings i get. i told him, nah, i'm ok wan. to which he asked why, and i thought for a while.

"well, maybe cos i have enough confidence in myself."

which i do, usually. under any normal circumstances. not high confidence, mind you. just enough to get me through the day. ngam ngam cukup makan.

but who doesnt hit rock bottom every now and then. some, more often than others.

today is one of those days where i feel crappy.

lots of coffee and maybe some chocolate. shopping. good songs.

i'll pick myself up soon enough.

you

Monday, June 25, 2007

don't get all huffy. i don't even have enough time for my close friends and even THEY'RE not being like that. you have no right, and obviously i'll prioritise them over you, because they are my CLOSE FRIENDS.

no offense to you. not everyone is my close friend. duh, if i may add. might as well throw in some eye-rolling.

and no, i can't give a definite answer simply BECAUSE i can't. hence i don't give promises. i state clearly beforehand, so please don't get all huffy when i can't.

so, now i sound like a really mean person? you're my friend, sure you are.

but i have, uh, boundaries. now now, don't be incredulous. i have my reasons for that.

and to my knowledge, you do have other friends, no?

(very tempted to say "shoo, off you go now")

...... so shoo, off you go now.

anyway, harry potter and the deathly halos helloes hoses hallows.

out in july right? it's like what, over rm100? forget pre-order me no want.

zomg damn fugly man. children edition.

adult version. bit boring but at least not ugly.

hence i shall be buying the adult one, even if there'll be rowling's bigass pic on the back cover *grimaces*. already did so for the 6th book anyway, which was... uh, oh ya, order of the phoenix.

oh no no no, that's 5th wth. 6th is... something PRINCE....

THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE!

i can't believe my memory's this bad. argh.

(i didnt make that up la. i really couldnt remember.)

sigh, mahal sial la the book. wanna buy a thousand splendid suns as well but, freaking rm60 plus.

some more i have a few other books i'll be buying.

...... or i could use the money to buy like a dozen slutty tops from sungai wang.

woo-la-la.

a (not even) half baked blog post to move daniel lee down. -_-"

to save your eyes, my darlings. to show my gratitude to those who actually come here. your eyes are precious to me.

right.

didn't have a good day. wasnt a bad day. it was just blah. in between. can't even whine properly cos it wasnt sucky or anything. just no mood the whole day. and i was out shopping, no less.

ya, no mood while shopping, when i took a day off to shop wth.

actually, i took a day off for some time alone, out of the house. and to shop cos it's been ages since.

then i ended up in mph. sigh.

maybe i should've used today to meet up with some friends (cos so many of u havent seen my muka for so long right. yes i know).

but wanted to be alone mah. as in alone in a crowd not alone alone.

realised new sem is starting in bout 2 weeks time. so not ready wth. plus the bei-ness from my last sem results still hits me every now and then.

BEI. ok? damn BEI. -_-"

things will be taking place during august which means a lot of work starting july (well, actually now but... nvm).

i'm still a bummer at heart!

great, it's about three and i should obviously be sleeping.

but i'm being incredibly stupid, thinking of... stuffs. i think i did the right thing, which i obviously did cos it's so obviously right.

but sometimes i just wish i made the wrong decision. even while knowing what was inevitable.

maybe there wasnt a right or wrong in that case. sorta like, it's wrong, but it feels right somehow.

for all i know, it could've been worth it going through whatever shit that was bound to happen. maybe it was just about taking the plunge. being in the car crash and not always just the traffic jam.

(ya i like the song)

an invisible line binds me. i don't venture further.

the line is good. it's there for a reason. but i get the urge to just do away with the stupid line. it's dotted btw. dotty-ish.

and grey. -_-"

......

so tonight i won't be sleeping. again.

told you this isnt even a half baked post.

daniel lee 2nd album~

Sunday, June 17, 2007

ok i know this post is a bit late la, but... i was once a HUGE fan of daniel lee mah. obligatory post on his new album and his new look. =D

he's still as cute as ever, hee.

anyway, his new album, 躲不过, or unavoidable. haven't really heard the songs yet... cos i've been really out of touch with him la. *lousy fan* *shy*

don't even collect posters and newspaper cuttings of him. sigh. but if anyone wants to give me any of those, i'll still be quite happy. =D

but his 2nd album should be quite good la! i think so la. kua. at least this time there was more time and thought put into the album, unlike the 1st which was kinda rushed, and thus a bit on the mediocre side.

so i shall be downloading his songs soon! hahaha. ok i know, illegal downloading damn bad, stealing from my favourite artiste.

actually i don't mind shelling out some money for a couple of cds, just not daniel lee's la. bahaha. not that i don't like pop songs anymore la, i still do. speaking of which, mika is totally awesome, people go buy his album!

ok, i'm such a lousy daniel lee fan -_-"

hmm getting sidetracked. anyway, he's changed his look, previously it was the happy sunshiney cute guy look.

sunshiney bright smile

cute! hee hee

he's got the cutest grin ever~

since i'm on a roll here, why not just post more cute pics of him

see, all sunshiney smiley happy boy.

now, behold his new look! =D

daniel lee's second album, unavoidable.
i can think of a whole bunch of lame puns for the album name.
*snickers*

oooo, so... serious! mmm.

now, his look is more towards uh, lazy to elaborate. i'll just quote from this forum that quoted from some chinese daily:

Here he sheds his old "sunshine youngster" image to undergo a metamorphosis, transforming into a classy Yuppie clothed in the latest fashion of English-styled attire to exude a powerful air of youthful elegance. His new image resembling an upper class gentleman, appears to parallel his real life persona.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. yuppie? english styled attire? youthful elegance? upper class gentleman?

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA serious shit this got me laughing my fabulous ass off man.

he looks like a cute little high school prefect la! you know, the ones in form one, cos they're so cute and bully-able. BAHAHA.

little school prefect trying to be a bit lansi/poser. HAHA so cute la. XD

during the photoshoot.
stolen from daniel's blog

still kinda like his previous sunshiney demeanour compared to this schoolboy prefect supposedly upscale rich gentleman look complete with antique car. so weird la.

but still cute la. XD

[edit] and since i'm on a roll with cute pics, here's one showing the cutest boy ever.

he's growing so fast! =)

i'll bet my sis wont be too happy to see daniel lee and her son in the same blog post. WAHAHA.
